'Domestic Extra-terrestrialism'

'Domestic Extra-terrestrialism' is an installation based in my Livingroom, a domestic space. There are multiple elements of the installation from printed fabric, a painted candle, a patterned quilt and a sketchbook. All of these items are covered in patterns drawn in the sketchbook, and the candle is hand painted with one also. These patterns are drawn with acrylic paint pens inspired by microscope images, some accurately represented colour wise, others fantastical, an almost alien element to a domestic space.
